ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Sterling has a steadily growing economic base and has welcomed several new businesses in their industrial park. The Sterling Industrial Park offers some of the least expensive developed industrial sites in Connecticut. There are two districts designated to receive Enterprise Corridor benefits in the town.

EDUCATION

Sterling Memorial School, located in the center of town, educates grades one to eight. Students complete their education at Plainfield High School in a neighboring town.

RECREATION

A variety of sports programs are offered by the Sterling Recreation Commission as well as a summer day program.
