Adjacent to Interstate 395, Killingly's 70 acre industrial park is home to a diversified range of companies. Among Killingly's many industries are Frito-Lay, United Natural Foods, Rogers Corporation, Colts Plastics and Staples. Killingly's Industrial Park continues to grow and provides many employment opportunities for area residents.

Danielson Main Street, Inc. is an active merchants group, located in the heart of the Killingly Historic District. A new shopping mall is currently under construction and should be open in the fall of 2006.

EDUCATION

Two schools, Killingly Central School and Killingly Memorial School, provide quality education for grades Kindergarten to four. The new Killingly Intermediate School educates students in grades five through eight. Students then continue their education at Killingly High School.
